I write about quantum computing, AI, energy, supply chains, and the institutions that hold societies together. The future is uncertain, and alarm is the easier thing to sell. I'd rather work out what we can build, and find the people who want to build it with me.

Energy Grids, infrastructure, and long timelines. Nothing else on this list happens without it. Resilience Factories, supply chains, and the institutions that have to hold under pressure. Most of what breaks in a crisis was decided years earlier. Data Measurement, context, and trust. Why numbers persuade, and when they shouldn’t.

What I hold to

I believe new technology could make this a much better world, and I'm using this site to be specific about how. When I write about dangers, and I will, every piece ends with a credible path forward.

I explain things at the level you're actually asking, define jargon when it earns its place, and leave my thinking visibly unfinished where it is unfinished. You'll disagree with some of it. Good. Email me and say so.
